House of Guardian officially launched this past Wednesday.
I (We) have been blown away by the response. Literally thousands of visits since we launched! This wasn't just Guardian reuniting, it's Guardian reuniting with the fans. It's certainly humbling to think that our fans are still there for us 10 years later. Thank you. Sincerely.
Guardian has normally operated under the typical label, booking agent, publicist, lawyer, manager, radio promoter...and even stylist model.
That was the old way. A dying model.
We are doing all of this in a new way. Everything is being done "in house" by the band. 100% DIY. Karl Ney's 17 year old son Hunter has done all of the video editing, Jamey Perrenot provided the in house studio, Tony Palacios mixed the audio, David Bach has handled the project coordination, writing copy and overseeing the delivery of materials, Christian Rowe provided photography from the set and I have contributed the website & Digital Booklet design. A complete team effort for sure. I should also mention Shane " Kickstand" Boyd -a former crew member and soundman of ours who acted as engineer on the day of shoot.
Because the music industry as a whole has been in the toilet lately, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wondered if we'd be starting from scratch, and in some ways, we are. But the Guardian fans are honestly the best! Every band should be so fortunate to have support like that. You were there for us back in the day..and you are still with us.
Thank you thank you thank you! We'll give you our best.

Israel Houghton | The Power Of One
I have spent a lot of time working on this release (alongside the incredible Integrity Music team) over the past few months. I was excited to see that it debuted at #1 on Billboard as well as on iTunes.
A quality recording that I'm excited to know is getting into the ears and hearts of folks everywhere!
If you haven't checked it out yet..shame on ya!
